July 5th - School Closed for 4th of July

Thank you

A huge thank you to all the parents who donated money for Teacher Appreciation Week and brought in special breakfasts to share. We all had a wonderful week and all the teachers got

gift cards. Thank you again!

Signing in and out

It is very important that you

sign your child in and out every day. Please sign your full, legal name. In emergency situations this is how we can keep a record of all the children that are here. It is also required by Licensing that every parent signs his complete name, first and last. Thank you for your cooperation.

Summer

The summer has started out great we have had a visit from Happy Hollow. The children learned all about a tortoise, a rabbit, a parrot and a tarantula. Also the children had a wonderful time in the bounce house. Sports day has started and the children are loving it. We look forward to a visit from the Fire Department to learn about fire safety. Also this month we have a petting zoo coming, a bird show, lots of water play and bubble making, and a visit from PT Puppets. The children have also enjoyed water play and many outdoor activities. We are very excited about the rest of our summer!

Late pick up/Late Payment

Unfortunately we have to start enforcing our late policies which are outlined in the Admissions Agreement. We have to pay our teachers overtime when you are late picking up your child. Late pickups have historically not been a problem, so we have not charged. However, it is becoming a common occurrence and results in a significant expense for the school. The charge is $15 for every 15 minutes or fraction thereof. Likewise, when tuition payments are received after the 6th of the month, our ability to plan and pay for the month’s activities is affected. School policy calls for a $15 late payment penalty.

Donate your old toys

We welcome usable toys your children have outgrown. Please stop by the office for more details.

Security Camera

One of the concerns of parents has always been security. A church member has donated security cameras for our school. We will be putting the cameras in the downstairs and upstairs hallways. If you have any concerns or questions please stop by the office.

Survey

Thank you again to all the parents the participated in the school survey. It has giving us much insight to your thoughts and feelings about our wonderful school.

Rainbow Room

Hello everyone! The month of June was very busy and went by very fast. Our end of the year program was a great success; the children did a wonderful job. We have started to enjoy our summer; almost every day there is something exciting to look forward to. The month of July will again be busy and exciting. We’ll start the month off by celebrating Independence Day. The children will also learn about farm animals, community helpers, and dinosaurs. The very last week in July will be VBS. I will l be leaving for the rest of the summer on June 29th. I will be traveling to India to see my family. I very excited about my trip, although I will miss the children very much. I will return in the fall. In the meantime Ms. Mousumi will take the class. I feel very comfortable with Ms. Mousumi taking the class; she is very familiar with the children and will be able to do a wonderful job with them. It’s been a great pleasure to work with all the wonderful families and children. Thank you so much for all your support. I wish you all a wonderful summer and I’ll be seeing you in the fall.
