3 Year Old Program
The three year old program at Good Samaritan is for children who
will turn 3 by December 2 and are well on the way to independent
toileting. The teacher/student ratio is 1/12. The group size is no
larger than 12.
Our 3’s program begins introducing more structure. Children
eat, sleep and do activities as a group. Activities are always encouraged
not required, however, at this age we do expect the children will
participate in most activities that are planned for the whole group.
Our 3’s are offered rich experiences in art, language, cognitive,
social and sensory areas. The teacher sets the learning environment
and then allows the children to explore activities independently,
all the while observing and extending activities.
Children in the 3’s program are introduced to literacy, math,
and science concepts through hands on play activities. The goal of
our 3’s program is to provide a strong base of social skills
and cognitive skills that will lead to success in our Pre-K program.
At Good Samaritan, we believe that our primary responsibility is
to provide a safe and trusting environment for children and families.
Please come to visit Good Samaritan to see if our school is right
for your family.
